Intersecţia is located in Emanuela Ascari’s grandparents house, where, the most of the time, lives her uncle Sandel, Alexandru Zbarcea. The resident will share the house with him and Emanuela, who will stay there all the period in dialog with the artist, and supporting her-him in a collaborative way.
Intersecţia offers hospitality for little periods, maximum one month from June to September, local support and a context that stimulates reflection and exploration. The house and the surroundings can be considered as “the artist’s studio”, as well as the fields and forests, and a little warehouse.
Nothing particular happens in that place, if not everyday life. We can move with public buses (the bus stop is in front of the house) and by bike, or by foot. In the night there are not open public spaces, and it is very silent. Around the house there are small food shops, and in Intorsura Buzaului, 4 km far, you can find a street market once a week, supermarkets, a pharmacy, pubs, and a train station. Internet connection is provided and it works well.

Intersecţia este situată în casă bunicilor Emanuelei Ascari, locuită, în parte, de unchiul acesteia, Sandu, Alexandru Zbarcea. Rezidentul va împărţi casa cu el şi Emanuela, care vor fi prezenţi pe toată perioada, în dialog cu artistul, şi pentru a sprijini invitatul în demersurile sale.
Intersecţia ofere ospitalitate pentru maximum o lună în perioada iunie-septembrie, suport local şi un context stimulant pentru gândire şi reflecţie. Nefiind un loc de rezidenţe tradiţional, casa şi terenul dimprejur pot fi considerate “studioul artistului”, ca si câmpurile şi pădurile, precum şi o mică magazie.
În acest loc nu se întâmplă evenimente relevante, doar simpla viaţă de zi cu zi. Ne putem deplasa cu mijloace publice (staţia de autobuz este în faţa casei), cu bicicleta sau pe jos. Nu există nici localuri de noapte şi, în consecinţă, domneşte liniştea. Magazine alimentare mici sunt in jurul casei, si la Întorsura Buzăului, la 4 km, există o piaţă o dată pe săptămână, un supermarket, o farmacie, puburi şi o gară. Conexiunea la Internet este asigurată şi funcţionează bine.
